The lot has been cleared and the foundation excavation has begun.

All of the foundation and frost walls have been poured. The excavator sits next to a pile of topsoil that was salvaged for use later.

The septic system installation is complete. The salvaged topsoil has been spread over the system and rough graded.

Old asphalt has been striped from the lot and stock piled to be loaded into trucks.

Subgrade problems became evident after construction began. Ryan's Excavating's Owner and the Soils Engineer discuss remediation options.

An addition two feet of subgrade has been removed and 1,500 square yards of geogrid has been installed to increase the load bearing capacity of the native soils.

Sand subbase, and aggregate base have been placed over the geogrid, graded and compacted. Now the project sits while we wait for the weather to hold out long enough to get it paved.

The weather held out. The finish roller operator is seen here making the final passes on the lot.

Asphalt and subgrade material has been removed. The Cemetery road is being reconstructed to accomodate heavier traffic and vehicles.
